Hank with a "H", I will always remember the first time I met you and how you welcomed me into the VFW family. Over the years, we have grown close and became great friends. The 40 years difference in age didn't matter. I've always enjoyed your stories on our way to different events over the years and you always taught me something. You will truly be missed my friend and Comrade. Rest in Peace and until we meet again.

Hank and Christine were members of the Lincoln Society of Dayton and Hank served on the board for a short time. I last talked to Hank Oct. 2019 while I was working the front desk at Cox Media. He said he was planning a big birthday celebration for his 100th birthday. That was realistic coming from him because he really loved life.
