Henry Wombles

I knew Henry from living in Midway, KY and from his son´s restaurant Heirloom. He would always come to everyone´s table to say hello and share some story new and old. He made me feel so welcome when I first moved to KY. He was a gentleman and a treat to have as a friend! He will be and is greatly missed.

Mr. Wombles was afriend to everyone. I met him as the father of my college roommate my freshman year at Centre College. He had a big smile and an even bigger heart. Eastern Kentucky will miss its native born son. Rest in great peace Henry! You will not be forgotten but rather celebrated for your contributions to life and to others.

I have plenty of stories of Buzz. We work together on a lot of projects from Darfork to Gatliff. Im very sorry to hear of his passing and wish your family the best

Always a pleasure to talk to Henry at Heirloom. We bought a copy of his book last year. He was sitting at a table outside of Heirloom. You could tell he was very proud of his work and life! He will be missed by many!
