Henry Woolf

Henry Woolf and I were in the Sixth Form together at Hackney Downs School in London. He was a dear, dear friend. I just very recently learned of his passing, and I am so, so saddened. We kept in touch over the years, and I have a small file of his letters. Occasionally, he would visit New York (principally for "Marat-Sade), but for other presentations as well, some in the company of Harold Pinter. I grieve his loss and share with his family their sorrow.

My heartfelt condolences to the Woolf family upon only hearing now of Henry's passing. I remember him as a charismatic, lively, generous, funny, and loving husband and father. Big hugs to Susan, Marie, Sebastian, Hilda and Ben. Thinking of my fond memories with you all.
