Not sure what to say?

I am in Florida and just heard about "Mr E's" death. I have many memories of our days at School 89. My thoughts and prayers are with you all

I am so sorry that we were not able to attend Your dad's funeral. I have the flu. Mr. Everett was a huge part of my life at 89. He always kept up on our family news and shared his. We at school 89 were like a family with your dad as our dad too! We so enjoyed his Christmas cards and continuing Christmas letters! We loved visiting him and attending his plays! His best advice for sick children was to give them a cracker....and it worked! I send my love and sympathy to all of you. May God...

To the family,

We send thoughts and prayers at your time of loss. Herb was a great person and father. In the days of head cherish and enjoy your many happy memories which will bring you comfort.

Love,

Missy and Jeff

Don and I remembered him when he came to our former church at Southport Heights to learn sign language to help Evelyn to understand since she lost her hearing. We also came to their assistant living apt once a week to eat dinner with them and play games afterwards. He will be missed by us and many of his friends and family. God bless his family. I left school 72 in 1966, and I always counted him as my friend. He was kind, amiable and a good principal; the kind sorely lacking in today's world. Godspeed, Mr. Everett...

Mr. Everett was my principle at school 72 back in the day and what I remember of him he looks the same in this picture.. I knew who he was as soon as I seen it before reading his name. God Bless you Mr. Everett may you rest in peace.

I went to school 89 from 2nd - 6th grade many moons ago. He was a GREAT principal!! Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers with the family
