I hope somebody sees this. I have a very old fur coat that belonged to Herb's mother, Yetta. Her name is sewn in on the inside of the mink wrap/shawl. Would love to connect with somebody in the family! [email protected]

Kenny and I were thinking of you and looked up your dad on the Internet and saw that he had passed. He was a good man and always treated us with respect. We think of you often and hope you are doing well.

My deepest sympathy goes to the Kirsh family. The most honorable was Herbert Kirsh will be missed. He was a kind, and generous man. He always had a smile on his face. If he felt some problem you were having would be solved with a phone call or letter. It was the right thing to do , he was behind you 100%. I am blessed to...

I did not know your father, but the R.O.M.E.O. reference in his obituary touched my heart. I know his breakfast buddies will miss him and I extend condolences to them, as well as his family.

My deepest sympathy goes to the Kirsh family. The most honorable Herbert Kirsh was a phenomenal man...kind, generous, and personable. I will always be grateful for the letter of recommendation he wrote for me 30 years ago. It helped me get into MUSC Dental School. I remember spotting a beautiful khaki coat at Kirsh Department Store in 1981. I asked my mother, Mary Frances Jackson (Clover resident), to purchase it for me. I wore that coat throughout college (USC) and years thereafter. My...
