I just found out from my recurrent flight attendant training class that David passed from an illness recently. My heart is grieved but I remember him as a professional and motivated young man with a strong personality you would never forget! My heart is with him and it is good know he had a loving family with him.

We both worked at CommutAir together. When we first met, I remember I was in the corridor that led to the C5 crew room in CLE. He was newly hired and all excited to be with the company. When saying hellos and introductions, I just randomly choose a name and said, "Hi, I'm David" and he says "oh my, my name's David too". It was super funny because when we went into the crew room, we sat at a table with a pilot and it turns out, the pilots name was David too. It was a start of a lovely...

Thinking of your family during this difficult time. I'll remember David for giving me my first "real" professional opportunity in DC, for which I am eternally grateful, and the good humor and dedication he brought to work. I looked up to and learned from him, and it was a joy to know him.
