Not sure what to say?

Mr Herbert was very loved and will be miss by all what know his and as a kid and as a adult he has been a ligth in my life we miss you and love you

Mahala, I was not sure that our "signing the guestbook" last week went through as we had computer problems. Please know we care and will continue praying for you during this very sad time. Pete and I loved knowing you and Herbert these past few years and will never forget your kindness and thoughtfulness during many occasions.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I think of you often. I did not hear of your loss until John called me. The mention of Herbert and Mahalia brought joy to mother. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.
Love, Ellen and family

TO THE ANDERSON FAMILY
My heart is full of joy and love for Mr. Herbert Anderson having knowing him most of my young life and remembering going into the store with my mother and siblings, and him giving us candy as we entered the door. I must say that he was a very compassionate person for everyone and an inspiration for every life that he came in contact with. He will be truly missed by everyone.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief

We will miss Mr. Anderson for many years to come. He was such a strong yet calm presence in the City of Wrens. His words touched our hearts and his greetings made us smile. I remember as a little girl him sharing the gift of reading with my class and afterwards he would share his signature candy bucket with all the kids. Many condolences to the Anderson family. He is greatly missed.

Always,
Mr. and Mrs. Willie A. Jackson and Family

WE FIRST MET MR. HERBERT AND MRS. MAHALA DURING AN AWFUL TRAGEDY IN THE YEAR OF 1993 AT THE AUGUSTA BURN CENTER.

THESE FINE PEOPLE ADMINISTERED TO US DURING OUR 62 DAY STAY IN AUGUSTA GA. AND WILL REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. I CAN STILL REMEMBER LOOKING UP ONE DAY IN THE WAITING ROOM AND SEEING MR. AND MRS. ANDERSON IN THE DOORWAY. THEY WERE JUST STOPPING BY TO SEE IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING. THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO ALL OF US.

THIS RELATIONSHIP HAS GROWN THRU THE YEARS AND WE HAD THE...

I can remember Mr. Anderson when I was a kid, My grandfather, Ellie Jackson , use to take us there and buy us clothing. He was always nice to us and gave us bubble gum. He will be missed Wrens. Sorry the lost

Mr. Herbert's warm and beautiful smile, and his love and special kindness will be missed by all. What a blessing that my children knew Mr. Herbert and were blessed by his love and kindness just as my husband and I were when we were children.
Mr. Herbert is definitely one of a kind and there will never be anyone even close. Heaven is singing and shouting right now. And he is probably giving out candy and reading stories to the children...still.
