Not sure what to say?

To me and my siblings he was always Uncle Herb. Our memories of him have not faded and come to mind frequently. A loving and favorite Uncle gave to me many examples of how to honor God before I join my Uncle and aunts in heaven.

My uncle Herb is not a precious memory. He was an example and model of a Godly man in so many ways for me. I miss him. Knowing he is with His Lord and Savior whom he served so faithfully for so many years, is a comfort in this loss for it really is not a loss. Once day we will be sharing again and together giving glory to our God.

I remember Dr. Anderson as a very young girl. My parents, John and Verlena Schwietert, had me dedicated as a baby when Herb was pastor at Gladstone Baptist. They were very good friends. Sorry to belatedly hear of his passing, but am assured hes been reunited with my parents in heaven.

Sorry about your loss.I Always watch Dennis the menace right today allways thought mr Anderson was a nice man

Writing on behalf of the Kooshian family, we send our condolences. Dr. Anderson had a profound impact on each of us in different ways -friendship, advice and teaching. We thank the Lord for him.

I met Dr. Anderson as a young child growing up on Terra Lane in Corvallis..
I have so many memories he was a non-judge mental giving person, I remember when he built his swimming pool he had all the neighborhood kids help him and for every brick they laid we had an hour of free swimming.. I occasionally attended Sunday school and remember his sermons very well, he also married me.. rest in peace Dr. Anderson you will always be remembered .

Dr Anderson warmly welcomed Joel and myself to Hinson when we arrived from Hawaii and International Baptist to attend seminary at Western. I loved the lengthy passages of scripture he would quote. What a great example he was for all of us!

Herb Anderson married us many years ago. To describe him is viritually impossible, but suffice it to say, he was perhaps one of the most significant people in our lives. We served the Lord under his Godly ministry in The Dalles & remained friends. His life was never about himself but about Almighty God & others. Heaven has now become even more attractive to us & we WILL see him again. praise God!!

I remember when I first met " Uncle Herb" ..... he was such a happy soul and so energetic!! He told stories about he & his brother Richard & their boyhood shennigans. Remember when he & Aunt Betty Lou traveled in thier RV to visit Paul & I in Longview... we had to go to Hayes RV for a part & Uncle Herb was so friendly to the staff like he had known them for years.... I also remember Uncle Herb " out-hiking" the rest of us at the family reunion in Colorado Springs .... the man had boundless...
