How very sad for all of his family and friends. He was a very sweet man. We worked together at the Pasadena PD and he always put a smile on my face.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Heavy Duty. He was my night shift FTO IN 1989 and extremely good to me back then. He will be missed!!

I worked with David when he hired in, the 70's were an anxious and active time. I worked in records and sure apprecaited his perfection on the reports he made. He is a great man and father and husband, and will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family and friends. Prayers for their strength during this time. Sleep Well David.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of "Heavy Duty". He was a great man and so proud of his family. We worked together for many years at the department and we were proud Marine dads together during the Iraq war as both our sons served their country. He will be missed.
