To the Bernstein Family,

I'm the son of Herb's first cousin, Lenore Friedman Harrison. My family and I, who live in Belgium, are in Florida on vacation now and we saw the obituary today in the Herald. I'm so sorry I missed the funeral. Growing up in Miami, Herb and Mildred and the kids as well as my mom and dad and my sisters celebrated many a holiday and birthday together, and the Thanksgivings at Mollie and Henry Lewis' were legendary. Herb will be missed, and my family joins...

To The Bernstein Family,
Just wanted to pass on my condolences. Herb was a great person...I don't ever remember seeing him without a smile on his face (even when he was yelling at Morty...which was often). I also have vivid memories of Herb and my Dad (Bill Kimel)playing many a late night ping pong game in the Bernstein's garage. I am glad that I knew him and he will be missed.

My best wishes to the Bernstein family. It was a privilege to have been a neighbor and to have known Herbert and his family. I am blessed with wonderful memories. (I played tennis with him once - gave me a thorough thrashing, and he really enjoyed it!!!).
