Herbert "Bo" Williams

Herbert L. "Bo" Williams, age 76, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home near Patterson, MO. He was born October 13, 1943 in Banks, AR, the son of Willie Williams and Ema (Gardner) Williams.

Bo was raised in Arkansas and worked as a Millright and Welder in Arkansas and Missouri. He was raised Baptist, was an Army veteran and was a past member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was married to June Loomis January 22, 1966 in Banks, AR and she passed away July 15, 1984. He was married to Doris Pigg February 14, 1987 in St. Louis and she passed away May 10, 2004.

Also preceding him in death are his parents, Willie and Ema Williams and 2 sisters, Christine Rice and her husband Oliver and Martha Sue Peek and her husband Thomas.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Angela Risher and her husband Johnnie, of Waldo, AR, LeeAnn Massey and her husband Robert, of Warren, AR, 1 sister, Eva Bradley and her husband James, of Warren, AR, 2 grandchildren, Ashley Word and her husband Matthew,of Camden, AR, Matthew Massey, of Warren, AR. his companion Delores Ann Dace, of Patterson, and many other family and friends.

Visitation was held from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, May 25, 2020 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. A Celebration of Life Service was held at graveside at 12:00 PM Monday. Stories and testimonies for Bo were given by his friends and family.

Interment was in the New Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.

Due to COVID 19 regulations, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services requires those attending the visitation and funeral service to practice social distancing and remain six feet (6') apart.
