Ted and I grew up together and became the very best of friends. The Book, Matus and Tolhurst cottages were all within shouting distance of each other on Mullett Lake and the families stayed at Mullett the entire summer. We spent those summers in the lake, in the rivers, on the beach, on boats, building one boat (it sank on its first launch) on motorcycles (which meant an equal amount of time fixing motorcycles), in the play house and the various cottages when it rained, in cars and around...
