So sorry for your loss Delores....Herbie conjures up many memories from my childhood days. We grew up on the same street and I will always remember the Sundays when his dad took my brother and I along with Herbie to the roller rink in Mountainville, and the Shadows at the the American Hotel in Catty. Herbie's wit was always sharp and I surely hated to hear of his passing. Good Bye my friend and may God keep you by his side playing your guitar for all to hear!!

At Western Union it was, Just the Fax Herbie, Just the Fax.
Before many of you knew what a facsimile machine was Western Union supplied them to businesses. Along with working on a wide variety of communications equipment Herbie was one or our Fax machine repairmen.
He was also noted for his personal accomplishments in different trades, i.e. construction and electrical.
He took his time and was thorough with good...

I worked with Herbie at WU. I will always remember the good times. He was a fun person to be around. May God bless him and his family..

So sorry to hear of Herbie's passing. We were good friends at Western Union and took some LCCC classes together. He even taught me to play the guitar. May God comfort you.
