Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Caplan family. I am so sorry that I'm just finding out about his passing. That is a huge loss. My name is Rosalind Williams and I am from Baltimore Maryland but I live in Virginia Beach now and I used to work for Elliot Caplan. I enjoyed very much working for him at the deli. It was a pleasure working there in 1983 to 1988. I hope all in your family are doing very well. Prayers go out to the family always. Take care and continue to be blessed

So sorry to hear of the passing of Herb Caplan. Growing up in Randallstown, we frequently walked to Capaln's deli in the Liberty Court Shopping Center. Along with the
tribute in today's Sun paper, I remember coddies ( 2 saltines with mustard) and that huge barrel of kosher pickles. I have yet to find any deli that is even close in comparision. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

dear caplan family our thoughts and prayers are with your family heartfelt sympathy for your loss. re michel co

Growing up in the Taxicab business, my family patronized many local businesses. One of them was the famous "Caplan's Delly" in Randallstown, Md. I will always remember the delicious bakery (fruit buns, chocolate eclairs, etc.),and the great tasting sandwiches and platters. The lox and smoked fish was 1st class. The dining room service was always outstanding. Herb knew his business, and his many loyal customers, and employees for many years...I am sending my heartfelt condolences to the Caplan...

During this difficult time family, friends and even strangers want to express how much they care for your family by a note or a warm hug. Proverbs I7:17 says "A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress."

Ros,

We were sorry to hear about Herb. He was such a nice, special and caring man.We know he will be missed.

Love,
Tina and Buddy Asher
