Dr. Herbert B. Carroll Jr.

Nice to remember the doctor who brought me into this world in 1960. My memories of him will always be his peaceful demeanor and kind treatment of me, even when he had to give me shot!

I was just thinking of him this week. Remembering his office and the suckers he gave out. Funny to see this email.

One hundred years ago today, my Dad was born. On his birthday, and every day, I thank my lucky stars to have been his daughter ❤

Dr Carroll was my pediatrician as well as my two daughter's. They loved him and I loved him. He was a gentle, caring man.

I had the pleasure of being associated with Dr. Carroll through Anne Marie, when she was Anne Marie Chambers. There was a vintage tricycle that he owned, that was once Anne Marie's and all of Dr.Carroll's grand children had ridden it so much that the tires were worn out.

He had indicated that he wanted to get new tires for it, but couldn't find anyone that would do it. I said allow me to deal with that. When I returned it to him, the grandchildren were able to ride it again.

Dr. Carroll was my younger sister and brothers doctor and was amazing. When my husband and I had our 2 boys there was no question who there doctor would be. We drove from Renton just to see him. Our boys had several health issues so we saw him frequently. Many a night he would get a phone call from us that one of the kids was sick with 105 temp. He always said I will meet you at my office.
