I met Herb in the 80's when I was working in Agriculture at the PNE in Vancouver. We dated for a while and he would leave little gifts on my car ... a pottery moose from Alaska, Paddington Bear from England. Hadn't seen him in many years and was sorry to hear of his passing. RIP sweet Herb. Leslie

I worked with Herb at Envisioning & Storytelling. Herb was such a nice, kind man, always cheerful and always a kind word, as well as being a talented architect. Never saw him without a smile or a chuckle for everyone he worked with, even when it was “down to the wire”. You will be missed Herb. Hope you and Paul are sitting down, concocting your next great project together!
