Mr. Cleaves was a great role model to a lot of young men and women. All I can remember is him smiling telling me Aleasha no matter what your going through you can do anything you put your mind to!! And those words stuck in my head throughout my youth! Because of mr cleaves words I became a better sister, daughter, Wife, and friend, but most of all a huge success story! Owning 4 companies. It's hard coming out of flint as a success but if you have someone like mr cleaves cheering you on you...

I am so sorry about your loss. May the love and support from your family and friends bring you comfort during these difficult times. Keep seeking their support. It will help with the pain.
God's words at Psalms 46:1 will give you such comfort during this time of sadness.

A friend, a fighter for justice and fair play, a voice for those who needed hearing. Herb was all that and more. Flint will miss him, but never forget him. He was considerate, yet to the point. No matter the person or the situation, right was right, and he would defend that right. May you rest in peace my friend, you fought a good fight and a just and worthy cause.
