Not sure what to say?

What a great man that had and deserved a great life. Dr. Davis was my pediatrician (and my siblings) from my birth and until I reached adulthood. We were always afraid to go to the Dr. (because of shots) but Dr. Davis always made it as easy as he could on us.

Dear Cheryl, Paul, Nancy, and Martha,

I was so sorry to read of Herb's passing. My mom, Gertie (Wenner) Hess grew up with Herb in Ashland, OR. My dad, Parker Hess went to school with him too. They both always spoke so highly of him.

I don't know if you remember, but I met most of you, including Herb, when you visited Ashland about eight years ago. My parents were so tickled to see all of you, and to meet you kids. I had heard so much about "Herb Davis" all my life,...

I met Dr. Davis and his lovely wife Nettie when my parents moved in next door to them when they lived in Westwood. When he was home, he could be found in his back yard, with his loyal dog, doing something. He and my mother often discussed what new plant he was growing, or the next project for the yard.

He became the pediatrician for our children, too. I remember a time during a regular physical for my daughter when he went to tap her knee with his hammer, and she didn't let her...

Dr. Davis was my Doctor as well as our grown children's pediatrician. He was always pleasant with a great sense of humor. He made up his own diaper rash formula called 1.2.3 I think. You could only find it at their pharmacy. Such fond memories from his office visits. Blessings to his family.

Herb was someone I got to know through my dad, Larry and Nancy. He and Nettie were always welcoming and I enjoyed spending a few holidays at their home. He reminded me a little of my grandpa, Boppo, whom he was good friends with. He was blessed to have such a long and fulfilling life. He has a beautiful and loving family. My family and I were honored to be a part of his life. Jamie Bodinson Sparks and Family

To the family of Dr.Davis
Dr Davis was the nicest man. As a pediatric nurse at SLH on the Plaza, I was fortunate to work with him for many years. His laugh deep from his abdomen always brought smiles to those around him. He knew medicine-both new treatments and the old standby treatments. One of "old" ways to treat GI symptoms was the "BRAT diet" a standard order for him. He would bring in a "dead ripe banana" to share with his patients!

He was respectful to families,...

A great doctor and a great person, he will be missed.

I worked with Dr Davis for years at SLH. He was kind and a true gentleman. I was honored to know him

Dr. Davis was my pediatrician as well as my children's. What a good man. The world was a better place because he was in it. The Davis family is in my prayers.
