We heard the terribly sad news last night when we stopped in the Candlelight Inn. We are so sorry. He was a brilliant man.

I hope you were greeted by your friend Blair Raum. The two of you had great fun with teasing me while I worked at the rectory. Rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Herb's family and friends. I knew Herb when we were at St. Charles College. He was a year ahead of me. I had lost track of him through the years and am greatly saddened at news of his passing. I remember Herb as a guy with a great sense of humor. Rest in Peace, Herb.

Herb, my heart is heavy and my tears are flowing as I read in shock of your passing! I look back on my life, and remember all the times you shared parts of my life with me and Jerry. I am eternally grateful that you were my comfort when my mother passed 13 years ago! I will hold you in my prayers as you reach those pearly gates where you are now with your parents, whom I also have fond memories of. I am so very sad right now. Rest in Peace my dear old friend, rest in peace.
