Kathy, Jim & Mrs. Dykes,

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Dykes' passing. I want you to know that I think of you often and remember some really great times. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you, especially for strength to get through this tough time in your lives.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. This note is from a childhood friend of Herb. I lost track of him as we lived separate but similar lives with the same interests and at Kodak for 34 years.
It is remarkable how he looks like I remember; I'd know him instantly had we ever crossed paths in all those years in Rochester and at Kodak Park.
I remember being at Herb's house off Lake Avenue, and helping him to wear in the bearings to improve the wheels and then testing them to choose the best...

My prayers now are that you and your family would experience God's encompassing arms, His comfort close, His presence real, His grace sustaining.
