Member of the Boad of Directors, Goodwill Industries of Southern California
Mr. Eagle, a UCLA graduate, is listed in Who's Who in the World, Men of Achievement, and Who's Who in America. In addition to Business Week, he has appeared in cover stories of other magazines.
He is survived by his loving wife, Babe; stepchildren Deanna & Chip Julin, Daniel & Michal Saks, Crystal & Mark LaVenture; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Mrs. Craig Cuthbert), Mattison Max LaVenture, Karen Saks, M.D., & Marielle Saks; one great-grandson, Adam Cuthbert.
Funeral Service will be Private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in the memory of Herbert Eagle to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, P.O. Box 96024, Washington, D.C., 20090-6024

In 1953 Mr. Eagle was made vice president, group sales, Occidental Life Insurance. I was lucky enough to be selected as his secretary. Every day was a challenge and a privilege to work with him and witness his brilliance. I left him to be married in 1955 and he attended my wedding. I have a photo of the two of us at my reception. I'm crushed to know that he is no longer with us, and I extend my sincere condolences to his wife and family. I will keep him in my prayers. RIP, Mr. Eagle.
