Herbert A. Ebert. The Memorial Service for Herbert A. Ebert, 98, of Fox River Grove, formerly Des Plaines, will be held on May 3, 2008 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Avenue, Barrington, where the family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the Service at 11 a.m. Interment was private at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. Born Jan. 27, 1910, in Chicago, IL, he passed away March 30, 2008 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Survivors include his children, Eunice (the Rev. Ebert of Madison, WI; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra, nee Schnake, whom he married Feb. 6, 1937 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Des Plaines.
