when herb passed we lost one of the good ones. he is missed by all the people he touched. RIP

Herbert Evers- was an amazing man- He was a source of inspiration and good counsel. Great human being. He will be missed. I knew him from childhood to teenager to young adult to adult. At every stage he was a blessing. Peace thanks and blessing to his family.

i am sorry to learn of herbert's death. i first met him when i was 16 and am now 62. my first impression of enormous calm, serenity and a twinkling humor has stayed in my memory. my father, john lawson, had deep feelings for herbert, almost like a father for the son he never had.my mother died of alzheimers and i felt more peaceful knowing and believing she had found peace. catherine lawson

I worked with Herb at CM&M and HSBC from 1990 through 2002. It was truly a pleasure to have Herb as the CEO. Herb was well respected and exhibited great qualities as a leader which everyone appreciated. One quality stood above all, he genuinely cared about his fellow workers as much as he cared about the business.
