Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Fliger family. You guys are among my parents, Don and Delores Peterson, most dearest friends. You changed my life, as we followed you here from Missoula Montana. Here I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, had a wonderful career at Boeing, and raised a beautiful family. Thank you for the memories of hunting in Missoula, sitting on the "hump" between Herb and my dad in Herb's willies jeep. How I loved to witness the interaction between the two great men as they...

I count myself lucky to have worked with Herb at The Herald starting in 1987. I remember him as a gentleman of the first order -- he never had a bad word to say about anyone. I always enjoyed his wry sense of humor, too! My condolences to his family. I know you've lost a special man.

Louis, I never knew your Dad. But I certainly remember how nice you were & also a great photographer. I still have the picture of us (with Ed & Betty Morrow) for the new Everett Museum hanging on my wall. You did your Dad proud and am so sorry for your loss.

What a wonderful life Herb enjoyed while on this earth! I know he has left many wonderful memories for his family and I know he will be missed very much. I was pleasantly surprised when Herb included me on his emails of jokes and interesting historical tidbits. I always enjoyed his emails and was pleased he chose to include me. I enjoyed his and Enola's visits to the farm and the interest Herb took in the alpacas. I will miss him.
