Herbert Forcade

So sad. Mr. Forcade was one of my favorite teachers at Burbank. A real decent funny man that really knew how to get through to me.

Such a wonderful man. All of my three children had the privilege of being his students. He fostered such a love of reading and learning. They would mention how they liked hearing him read to them in class. Through the years they have asked about him and how he was doing often. He was such a warm and caring person who I also had the pleasure of working with at school. Love and prayers to all the family and many friends . Heavens gain.

I taught with Herb at Central School for three years. We were Team teaching woth Cyndi Presson whao had also been reassigned to Central 6th grade in 1982. We shared many of the same students who would be in our team teaching (reading) siruation. Herbs "kids" loved him and l'm sure he loved them as well. The World was a better place with Herb in it!
