I didn't know your dad had passed away until I read it today in Bernard Levy's obituary. I remember him fondly from my driver's ed days :), and i know he was in my mom and dad's circle of friends. Thinking of him and you all! ... Mari P Ziolkowski

Areally good guy, young for his age and always fun.

Your dad and mom and my Uncle Chic and Aunt Marian were such good friends. I have fond memories of him. Mass will be said for him at St Stephen in Riverview FL.

Mr Furnas I have many memories of you with Bernard refereeing many football games, and at Jackson High. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the whole family. Tom and Syndy.

I met Herb 65 years ago. I was just out of school I was 19, Herb was 30. We met at the Holsum bread factory. That was Herbs part time summer job. We both worked together packing hamburger and hot dog buns in boxes that was sent to stores. We were instantly friends. I was the talker he was the listener but always with advice.
