Not sure what to say?

Dear David , Sharon, Eileen and family,
We send our sympathy and love at this hard time of loss. Although Paul and I only met your dear dad/Joe a few times, we could tell that he was a character of huge dimentions: heart, humor, and love of family. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Alice Journey

Dear "Aunty" Eileen and Family,
I was so deeply saddened when I read the paper this morning. Yossi was such a wonderful part of my life for so many years. I loved his stories and he had such a way to tell his jokes..... Being so far away makes me sad but please know you are so in my thoughts and prayers and this very sad time.
With time I hope your grief that you are feeling will slowly changes as you remember what a super mensch and great guy Yossi was.
My heartfelt...

We met in Las Vegas several years ago. Eileen joined my table in the "sports book". Ever since then you and Joe were two of my favorites. Sincere condolences. May your fond memories last forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I met joe and eileen in the summer of 2007, They hired me to do some work around the house... It was a pure delight getting to know them...their sense of humor was nothing less than AWESOME....Eileen had the twins game on and sid hartman came over for afternoon snack....we were at the table and lew ford came up to bat.....sid said , lew is horrible , that guy shouldn't have come up from the minors!...Crack of the bat.....home run for lew ford! Joe looked at sid and said...Good call...

Dear Dave, Rick, and Mrs. Garrelick, my thoughts are with you at this time. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Eileen, I can't tell you what beautiful memories came to mind when I saw Joe's obituary. Your family and mine were so close in past years. I think of you now at this time, and thank you for bringing Joe into our families. Joe was one of a kind, but in the most remarkable way. Mitzie and I send our most sincere condolences. The next time I get to St. Paul I promise to call you, and hopefully get together.
Love, Bernie Kaplan

Along with being the creator of my best friend, Joe Garelick charmed and bulldozed his way into my family with zesty love and classical common sense. We are all enriched and enlivened by the time spent in his company and, now, with the memories that will endure.
