Herbert Wayne Goodman

I worked for his father the late George Goodman DMD back in the early 80's I worked for him about 3 yrs Great dentist.

I am looking for the address of Dr Goodman's office in NW Portland as early as 1963-4.

I worked for Herb as his office manager in the late 70 and early 80's. Never had I met someone so kind and generous. He was always interested in my life and that of my young daughter.

Herb was one of a kind and I loved his fatherly way.

I first met Herb as a referral from Pdx Audiology at VA Hospital to address his struggle with hearing loss. We shared Herb's love of catching salmon & making Lox, digging & eating razor clams, sharing great wine & conversation. Herb was a great caring friend & mentor to our son while studying Medicine.
Herb was truly a "Role Model" for our family, we Love & Miss him!

When my own father died, the most heart-felt condolence letter came from Herb. As Herb noted then, the lives of the Goodmans and the Rosenbaums have long been entwined. I will always think fondly of George, Chuck, Herb, and the whole Goodman family.

We were neighbors of George and Chuck Goodman, some of the nicest people ever, which is how we got to know Herb. Our family used to go to a dentist who did not believe in Novocaine for kids, so we all LOVED our new dentist who used only the most modern methods. (It was also pretty cool that he drove around in a Porsche.) We would look for him in every Norm Thompson catalog, perhaps a little marketing he learned from his father. Our heartfelt wishes to his family.

Herb was an inspiring friend and a wonderful father. We will miss his great sense of humor and his welcoming smile.
