Not sure what to say?

This is very personal. He often checked for comments on his youtube videos and replied as much as he could. His videos continue to inspire a new generation. What a brilliant way to leave a legacy.

A mountain of a man and a beacon of light, I can never forget you!
Strength and hope to family and friends.

My best wishes for his next journey. He was (is) a fantastic teacher. Whenever I wrote him he reverted. It is a personal loss.

Many people have learned and benefitted from his work, talent, and generosity. May God provide comfort and peace to his family and all who loved him! Valerie Roberson, President of Roxbury Community College

I am privileged to have know Herb.

I got to know Herb in the years that followed and if he was speaking at a conference I was attending, I went to his presentation. In 2015 I was awarded the first Herb Gross Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Mathematics Association for Two-Year Colleges for my service to the two-year college...
