Condolences to the Hawkins family.
During my tenure as United States Attorney, 1985 - 1990, I worked closely with Herb when he was the FBI SAC.He was the consumate professional and a man of honor. We enjoyed a friendship outside of our respective positions. I was saddened to learn of his passing. I regret that I shall be unable to attend the memorial services in his honor.
