Not sure what to say?

How I would have treasured discussions with him about today's hot topics from domestic politics and quandaries to worldwide concerns. I do miss him. m.e.

I spent a year living in Wilmette with Herb,Ila, Ellen and Bruce on an AFS scholarship in 1967-8. I attended New Trier West High School with Ellen and I have many fond memories of a very happy year as part of the Hazelkorn family.

Great appreciation for all the work that Herb and Bobby did for Americans for Democratic Action. ADA activists from the beginning, they will be missed by all of us.

Joel Cohen, Chair
ADA National Executive Committee

Herb you will be missed. Your irrepessible sense of humor along with your unfailing instinct to push and give time to support the progressive agenda. You and Bobby did have a neat relstionship and I know you did miss her. Thank you for sharing your time and energy with me when I was in Chicago.

Thank you for being a source of inspiration, for being a voice for those whose who could not find their own, and for fighting the right fight. May you find peace and justice where you are. My deepest condolences to Ellen, Bud, Sadie, Ila, Lisa, and Eric.

Would that his lifetime involvement in social justice had helped to bring about a gentler and wiser country in his golden years....
