Not sure what to say?

Have eight years gone by so quickly? We think of you often, and some in the group have since joined you. Continue watching over Dottie, please.

So much fun - always nothing but great fun. A lifetime of memories..my first dance partner at Miss Isabels'..wild rides on motorcyles in the middle of the night through Heathwood..endless good times. Such a great guy, will miss him. All good thoughts to the Hoefers and to Dottie..you have lost a fine man, a gentleman and a true friend.

I have wonderful memories of Herbert from our Days at Dreher. He was always unpredictable, funny, and there when you needed help. Truly a nice guy. My prayers are with the family and Dottie.

I have fond memories of Herbert and am deeply saddened of his passing, my heart goes out to the Hoefer family. We will miss you my friend!

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Herb for several years and he was a little shy at first, as we got know each other, his wonderful sense of humor came out. He could always make us laugh. The world will be a sadder place with his passing. May you find comfort in this difficult time. Blessings to you all.

Jean and Chris, my heart goes out to you both for the loss of your brother. I met "Herbie" in my younger years, and have a fond memory of being taken for a impressive ride through the neighborhood in his convertible. He was taken much too soon, but I am happy to read of his successes in life and the wonderful legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your lost. CMDR Hoefer will be missed by all.

I am sorry to her about Herb. He was a wonderful man and I enjoyed working with him in the Magistrate's System. My prayers are with the family. IF you need anything at all, please contact me at (843) 425-5181. or work (843) 559-1218.

Have fond memories of Saratoga shipmate, Herb. First met him in NTDS Course at Dam Neck before either of us reported to the ship and we served in CIC together. Our sympathies to the family.
