Not sure what to say?

I am from the Classic 1970. I remember the times at RCS when Mr. Holland was principal with Dr Fillipone. At the High school before the middle school was built. It was very crowded passing between classes on the 2bell system and the late bells ringing I liked the crowded hallways and seeing your friends passing by. But seeing Mr. Holland in the halls always brightened my day. I enjoyed his presence at RCS while I went to school there. God bless your family. Jamie Weidman

The Class of '55 always admired and respected Mr Holland, and looked forward to seeing him once again at the reunions. May you, his family find peace within all the fond memories, and knowing how he affected the lives of those around him.

We are so sorry for your loss. Herbert touched many a life in his passage through this world, all those for the better. Memories are all we have after the loss of a loved one, but they are also the building blocks to comfort. May we all give a block to this family. Respectfully.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Holland family. I remember Mr. Holland as a respected member of the RCS community, and as a supportive and very appreciated colleague of my dad.

Mr. Holland was a wonderful man and teacher. I always enjoyed his class. I will always remember him.

Ruth Franz Robinsoon

A humble, gentle man with a remarkably large footprint on the history of the Albany community

one of the best teachers R-C-S ever had. As a female student I even enjoyed hearing about the National Guards. May you rest in peace and know that you did a good job as my teacher

You couldn't ask for a better neighbor than Herb. I'm sure I speak for all the neighbors at Whitehall Station in saying he will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Mr. Holland teaching me and my classmates, Social Studies at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School. He was well liked by the entire class. We enjoyed him so much we always had he and his wife as a special guest at our Class
reunions. May he RIP....
Sincerely, Ann S. Wilsey - Class of '55
