Most of my memories center around his baseball days. We attended many of them! It also was fun to know Val when she was in high school and working in the lunchroom. It was quite the coup when Herbie was dating her!!!! I had this inside story!!!
He was only 12 years older than me so all of the Christmas and Sunday visits to the farm included Herbie and Elmer teasing the little ones!!!! It was all in fun and good times! RIP Herb and sympathy to all of his kids!
