Herb was so much fun to be around, his way of telling stories and that incredible sense of humor will be missed. He left us with some good memories and two chips off the old block in his daughters.

Herb was my special "boyfriend" and spoiled me with so many wonderful cards. We had been pen pals for a long time and I will miss these messages from him. I loved this wonderful man and the beautiful sparkle in his eyes. He will be missed by so many and I am one of those.

Pop Pop was one of the few people that retired when he retired. He traveled the world and had a deep passion for fishing. He and grandmom were true soulmates. The two had a huge circle of friends throughout the United States. His laughter and companionship will be missed by family and friends alike. In his last days he was at peace and ready to enter into eternal life. Goodbye Pop Pop you will be truely missed by us all.

As our comrades leave us one by one so many thoughts come to mind. Herb was one of the great guys, clever, always cheerful with a terrific sense of humor. He made us laugh a lot. We will miss you Herb.

Herbert always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart, he loved our Sunday School class parties and playing the games. He is in God's hands now but will always be loved at Cornerstone.
