Not sure what to say?

Dear Marie,
With deep regret, I must say that I did not see or receive notice of Herb's passing until this very day, July 21, 2008, when the article. Dear Aunt Marie, Stan, Tricia, Kathy, Lil and Stephen,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband/dad. He was a brilliant, kind and funny man. Although I haven't seen you all in a while I still remember the fun times we had at Grandma and Grandpa's when we were younger. My dad is very sad over the loss of his "little brother" as he called him the other day. Uncle Herb will be truly missed by all. My sympathies and prayers are with you.
Love always,

Stanley, Stephen, Trish, Kathy, & Lil,

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Herb will be greatly missed by all. He was always a bright spot at any family party. My prayers are with you all and your family at this difficult time.
