Not sure what to say?

Herb was such a sweet man. For years, we'd go fishing together and when that got to be too challenging, we'd still get together and go to breakfast. We sure miss him! Herb will always be in our hearts.

I miss Herb. Regularly committing "herbicide" (getting your hair cut at Herb´s) is a great memory for those of us who worked downtown.

One year ago today heaven received another angel. Herb I know you´re dancing with your true love Trixie. May the two of you know how much you are loved and thought of every day, we truly miss you both

We were out of town and so sorry to hear of Herb's passing. Both Herb and Trixie are a treasured part of my youth. They were kind and generous neighbors and friends. Herb shared his interest in coin collecting with me throughout my childhood. Trixie baked cherry rolls that live on in my memory even today! All of my Middleton family members thank the Hunts for a shared past. We will keep you in our prayers. -----Melani Tutt, Bob and Keeta Middleton, Misti Johnston

"Herb the Barber" was a downtown institution. His shop on Colorado was the place to be to find out what was happening in Colorado Springs. . It wasn't unusual to have Mayor Isaac in his chair, and the DA and a couple of prominent bankers and businessmen waiting in chairs. Herb was soft spoken with southern charm and you were certain what was spoken at Herb's stayed at Herb's. He was one of a kind and will be long remembered and sorely missed.

Our Love and Prayers are with you! Herb was such a wonderful man, full of life - a constant smile & a warm hello. Your stories, laugh and friendship will be missed & the fond memories of you~ forever in our hearts!!

We have such fond memories of fishing trips and breakfasts and chocolate chip cookies. Herb, you will be missed but always remembered.
