I certainly will miss Herb. Ever since I started attending Temple years ago, Herb was always there and never once failed to be welcoming to me. I will not forget his kindness. His passing is a loss to me.

To Dorothy and children,
We were very sad to learn of Herb's death. Having served on the Temple Board with Herb for many years, I know how valuable he was to the Buddhist community. The congregation always offer praises to the ministers who have been assigned to our temple and many deserve the accolades. Herb was a lay leader who worked with all ministers from Reverend Tamai to the current Rev. Fujii. Herb was a quiet, unassuming leader who distinguished himself by getting the job...
