I've forgotten just how long I've known Herb Jackson, but it is decades. He was always a sterling example of how a decent, Christian person should conduct him/herself. His service as a member of Bethany Baptist Church is legendary to us who had the privilege of observing it. He never seemed to forget how important it was to exemplify Christian values wherever one happened to be. He was respected and loved by many, I among them.
