Not sure what to say?

I had Mr Jensen for biology in the late 60s. I was an A/B student in all subjects except biology. Although I struggled to touch anything let alone dissect it, he passed me with a C instead of the D I deserved. He was a kind, patient teacher.

My condolences extend to all who know Herb. He was ever kind and thought full. I worked with him as a colleague and as a leader in Carrman Ainsworth. He provided much-needed humanity at Carman and helped us all to excel in a fine school district. A fine human being.

So sad to hear of Herb's passing. He was definitely 'one of the good guys' of education and working with children. I've missed him since retiring from C/A. RIP, Herb.

So very sad to hear that Herb passed away and I didn't know until today, August 8. I met Herb at C/A Ad Bldg back in 1986 and I enjoyed his smile everyday for 13 years. I haven't seen him in years but have thought about him often! So sad to hear this; I so wished I could have seen him over the years. My condolences to his wife & family/friends. He will be missed.

Herb was my teacher in junior high at Utley, he became a college when I joined the C/A staff. We had a great friendship . I was his student when Herb and Emma met, we had fun with them and Jim Baxter and his wife. They gave us all dance lessons. RIP Herb

I so enjoyed working at the Administration Building with Herb. He was always a kind and fun person. It has been such a long time since I last saw him, but I send our sincere condolences to his family.

He was a great teacher a d a good human being. May he Rest In Peace.

I'm so sorry Charlene & Sally. I always liked Herb when I met him at the beginning of my teaching career with Sally at Van Slyke.

I was saddened to read of the passing of Herb. I worked with Herb for many years.. he was not only an outstanding educator, but an amazing friend, supervisor and advocate for children. He did soooo much to promote the Carman and Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools to a level of excellence during his career! My heart goes out to you, Pam, Char, Dorothy and grandchildren. He will be missed.
