My thoughts and prayers go out to the family ! He was a great family man I did have the pleasure of going to one of his basketball camps Wayback in the day at Wesleyan . May he Test in Peace

My deepest sympathies to the entire Kenny family. Coach will ways be a part of our own family as he mentored my Dad at Platt HS and my kid brother at Wesleyan U. I wish all in his family well at this difficult time.

Herb and family, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. May the lessons he taught you and the good times you shared bring smiles to your faces whenever you're missing him. I'm sure he was an inspiration to many people!

My husband, Bruce, has been telling me stories all day of the wonderful things Mr. Kennedy did for him while he worked at the Boys Club. I didn´t know Mr. Kennedy but from what Bruce has told me he was one of a kind and helpful to everyone. We send our deepest condolences.

Meriden has lost an icon with the passing of Herb Kenny. He was not only one of greatest sports figures to ever come out of Meriden, but a gentleman, friend, wonderful person and a true legend in Meriden! I am honored to be a member of the Meriden Sports Reunion Committee that chose Herb as a "Sportsman of Distinction" in 1987, one of the highest honors given to a sportsman in Meriden!
