Karen, Jeff, Shelly, Scot, Matthew, Marlene and family:

We are saddened to learn of Herb's passing. He was a tremendous example of what it means to share your good fortune. From the first moment that we met his demeanor and style left such an impression on me to never forget one's own origins.

Herb was a client, mentor and friend to me. He will be greatly missed.

Best wishes,

Jim and Denise Kane

Our heart felt condolences to Karen and family. Herb will always be in our thought! he was a great man and a very kind man indeed!

Farewell to the King, a real king with a big heart

Dear Karen and Family: In addition to being an ICON in the food industry, Herb will be remembered as a generous philanthropist. He raised millions for the many Ronald McDonald Houses, etc. I loved our LPGA days. He will be welcomed into Heaven. Bob Morton

Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time. From your friends at the shore, Don Miner and the DL Miner organization.

Karen, our condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Herb was a fine man.

The Lotman's and the Littman's have been next door neighbors for 29 years.
Herb was a generous and hamish man.
I'll always remember him ringing my door bell and presenting me a welcoming fruit cake as he introduced himself as my neighbor next door and gestered to his house on the left. He was very sweet in contrast to his imposing presence.
Karen, our heartfelt condolances to you and your children and grandchildren.
