Herbert Louis

I had the honor of knowing Dr. Louis during my residency training at Maricopa from '89-94. He was always a gentleman in both dress and manner. He always added practical advice during our fracture conferences and we always appreciated his mentoring. If I stayed in the state, I would have loved to have a personalized car license plate such as "talus" to complement his "tibia" plate. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I offer my condolences to the entire family. My parents and I knew Dr. Louis when he and his son, Clif came to our family's ranch in Roll, Arizona several Septembers back in the 70's for an annual event. He always brought fine wine, an appreciation of my mother's wonderful meals, great jokes and stories, dish-washing skills, and his cute teenage son. I only knew Dr. Louis for a short time, meeting him when I was lucky enough to be contacted to groom his beloved Bainbridge so he could take him to visit the kids at the Children's Hospital. He always made me laugh and he loved Bainbridge, that's all I really needed to know about him. May he rest in peace....

What a great loss. I always loved Tims presence. He was a wonderful person.
