Shirley, Rod, Kimberly, Kirsten, and Rolf -
My most sincere condolences on Herb's passing. Although I lost contact with him, and you, after I left Ann Arbor in 1979, all of you and The Church of the Good Shepherd have been with me in many ways. Herb was a very special person and I feel honored to have spent time with him and to have been able to help him with some of his many ministries.

We have lost a dear friend, mentor, leader, and pastor. He lived what he preached and taught, with courage and compassion. He lives on in our memories. God's peace to Shirley and the rest of Herb's family.

Our deepest regrets to the Lowe family. A loss such as this cannot be summed up in words, know that you are in our prayers.

May God bless you all at this time. Know that Pastor Lowe is gone to a better place. And pray that we all will meet him again. He will be sorely missed by the children and citizens of Ann Arbor.
On behalf of the African American Academy, we cannot tell you how much Rev. Lowe meant to us. He was a man among men. God bless you Mrs. Lowe and family. Alana, we love you!

A beautiful man-a beautiful spirit. Pastor Lowe was very unique and special. He will be sorely missed.

From: Pastor Gordon and the St Paul Baptist Church family.

With deepest regrets to the Lowes, extended family, and friends. Reverend Lowe touch the lives of all he came in contact with and will be greatly missed. May the Lord be with you all in your time of need. With love and neverending blessings.

I presently live in Muskegon,MI. I am however a native of Ypsilanti. I remember fondly seeing Pastor Lowe at many functions including the Spring revival given by the Ministerial Alliance. But my greatist memory is from the Love he showed my grandmother ( Estella Roberson) during her hospital stay and the words of comfort offered to the family when she went home to be with the Lord. I offer you my prayers and condolenses; and know that he was greeted by the many people that he touched here on...

We just want to express our sincere condolences. I went to the Good Shepherd and enjoyed the many years Pastor Lowe was in my life.
There is truly another angel in heaven.
