Herbert John Luna

Our deepest condolences to Kathy and the family. Herb and Kathy were great neighbors and friends to us. May he Rest in Peace Louie and Rosie Tacdol

Kathy and I have been friends since kindergarten and when she met Herb, it was a perfect match. I moved away in 1974 but have always been in touch. Anytime we visited family, Kathy and Herb were always invited. Herb, Kathy and I would play cut throat pool, me as the 3rd wheel :-) In his quiet way Herb always had command of his cue stick, some great shots!! Guessing God needed a really good barber and loyal follower. God Bless you Herb, so good knowing you, never to be forgotten.

I really enjoyed talking with Herb about all the old pool halls and hotspots both in old West Sacramento and downtown, while getting a haircut over the past 20-25 years. A kind, easy-going barber's barber and a pool shark! May his memory be a blessing.
