I met Herbert while working in the clerks office. What a gentle giant he was. Always smiling and friendly. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences to the McCants families.

I was disheartened to learn of the death of a classmate from years ago and extend heartfelt condolences to his entire family. May your faith in Christ and your fond memories give you the strength and peace needed at this time.

I served with Herbert at the MCSO for over 15 years, he was a calming spirit and served professionally in every situation we were placed in. He was a fine leader and investigator. My condolences to his family and friends.

Many years ago, Deputy McCants worked in the Juvenile Division at the Sheriff´s Office. I was a social worker in Child Welfare at DHR. He would accompany me in dangerous situations. I always felt safe when he was with me. And it wasn´t because of his physical appearance. It was because of his calm demeanor and his ability to diffuse volatile situations. He was a good man who did his job well. My condolences to his family.

My condolences goes out to all of the Mccants' Family. May God continue to bless you all and give to you strength and comfort.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
