I was fortunate enough to deliver 5 years worth of Herb-a-grams. The people I met, the experiences afforded me and the life long love of San Francisco is directly related to Herb and KMD....Herb, keep dancing.

Fond memories of Herb-o-grams left on my desk; those bat-bite sketches....that rapid clicking of the mechanical pencil, tip of tongue sticking out. Cheers to a life well lived...the office wasn't the same without you.

An amazing person who helped me with several projects without discussing money first. He was warm and welcoming and openly shared his office and staff. I am saddened by his death as I am sure many are.

John Sutton Photography Herb McLaughlin took a chance on John right out of school. After hitting up seven of the biggest architectural firms in San Francisco, John, armed once again with his student portfolio, called on Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz.
