Not sure what to say?

A wonderful teacher...a former student from Anthony Wayne High School

We are so fortunate God gave us such a wonderful man who loved life and gave as much back to the community and the world. May you be comforted in your loss knowing his legacy is blessing untold generations, directly and indirectly.
He will be missed and love to you from Hope Lutheran.

Sorry for your loss. Psalms 65:2

So sorry for your loss. I new him some 40 years ago when I was best friends with Sue. He was an awesome man at that time; and he gave so much back to the community since then. A life well lived.

I am so sorry to hear of Herb's passing - I will always remember him as kind, gentle and very wise. I wish I could be there to celebrate Herb's wonderful life with family and friends but I am currently out of the country.

I am saddened by the news of Herb,s passing and think often and fondly of him.He was a true gentleman and his leadership in the founding fgof TCH was immeasurable. He has given much to many community initiatives but my favorite gift was his appearance in my office with trout from his fishing trips. His kindness is unforgettable, I will miss him greatly.

Very sorry to hear of Herb's passing. What a great life giver! A very kind and caring person who was always willing to help others out. He expertly helped my brother and I build our pine box derby race cars for boy scouts. They were the coolest ones for sure!!
Out thoughts and prayers go out to the Metzger family!!
