Brenda and family, I give you my sincere condolences on the passing of your husband and father. I knew Herb over the years from the automobile service that he had provided to me. A conscientious and true gentleman. We just saw each other a few weeks back. I’m saddened along with you.

Dad, I missed you before you left this Earth. I will always have wonderful happy memories growing up with you. You were the most wonderful father anyone could have asked for. You were excellent artist (not sure many even know that) I learned so much about drawing from you. Your love of history and travel to this day is inspired me to take road trips with my family and learn about the past. I appreciate the somewhat silly times, I'll always have happy memories when you painted my nails for prom and did amazing artwork on them. I miss our Saturday trips Furrow's and helping you with building projects around the house. When I got my first apartment, you were there, tool box in hand to add locks to doors to keep me safe and inspect. My heart holds onto these things. I pray you have peace, that you can hear my heart and that you know how much I loved you even if I didn't get to tell you recently.
