NEVER ONE TO DECLINE CHOCOLATE!

My Uncle Herb - Was and is a true GREAT to and for me and my entire family. I fondly relate to and agree with Jessica's comments. I visualize him from being seen by his Mother in upstate NY passing (mainly concealed by blankets) by on a commercial ice delivery sled, when supposedly in school at age 6 I believe (he had gone down and made friends with the ice cutting men); his saving the money and buying an operating model steam engine at perhaps age 8-10; loving and raising a fine family...

Herb was a true gentleman .I had the pleasure of being an officer of the Newark Rotary during Herb's membership and he was a dedicated rotarian ,doing whatever the club needed. He was also a source of counsel for me many times over the years ,Herb will be missed .May God give your families peace at this time.

My deepest sympathy goes to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply grateful for the many years I got to spend with my Grandpa Herb. He lived a full and impressive life, making for some fantastic stories. We bonded over photography and the latest in science. We shared nearly 30 years of visits to the lake. He loved puzzles and was a great sailor. He embraced new technologies and I fondly remember many humor filled, late night online chats when I was in college. I am proud to be his descendant.

Herb was a special, talented gentleman. All of us in his family will miss him greatly.
